There are so many times when we want to browse the internet anonymously. There are a few ways to do it including using a proxy server or a VPN connection. Proxy servers are not all that good in terms of speed and features. By features, I mean that some of the proxy sites disable javascript and some of them don’t allow dynamic content. If we use a proxy server, it’s also very slow and not all that anonymous.

There have been so many times when I’m installing a new application or software and the app gives me a message that it need a particular version of DotNet Framework in order to work properly. And there is no simple way to see which version of DotNet Framework is installed on the system.

Sometimes there are multiple versions of DotNet Framework installed on the system and it’s very difficult to see which of them are installed. There is a utility called DetectDotNet which tells which versions of DotNet Framework are installed on the system.DetectDotNet is portable so it can be placed in a USB pen drive and used where ever needed.

There are certain areas of system security where even a moderately advanced techie will fail to identify the security hole. The security hole gets identified only when the system gets compromised.

There are security software like antivirus, anti-malware, firewalls and internet security suites but how do we know that they are protecting our system? This is what we should be able to know from these softwares. But unfortunately most of the security softwares do not give any information regarding this in an effort to be more and more user friendly.

Hello, to all!

Today I’m writting about a little tool I’ve created today: Change Task Manager 1.0.

It does exactly as it’s name suggests, allows user to change default windows task manager and use either Process Explorer or Process Hacker.
